Harriers embrace the mud at Temple Newsam...

Sunday 25 January saw twenty-five Thirsk and Sowerby Harriers take party in the PECO Cross Country League fixture at Temple Newsam.

This was the second club championship race of the year and the course was a 4.7 mile loop through the grounds of Temple Newsam House. Conditions were cold, wet and muddy – everything to be expected from a cross country race – and there were lots of happy Harriers because of it!

Beforehand, Head Coach Rob Burn, along with Christine Burn and club coach, Andy Butcher and Alison Butcher did a brilliant job of getting the tent up and some hot drinks on the go.
